OTC 83-DCS Tactical "Interceptor" Vest Level IIIA or Level IV

This tactical bulletproof vest is modeled after the PointBlank "Interceptor" style at a fraction of the price. This vest provides the ultimate combination of state-of-the-art ballistic protection and design innovations. Commonly targeted areas: groin, lower back and throat are also protected. These design provides an integrated flexible system offering effective defense against a broad array of threats.

Removable Yoke/Collar and Throat Protector:
- Provides ballistic and fragmentation protection to the neck and throat.

Base Vest:
- Back, left-front and right-front panels, the front opening base vest is fully compatible with various military gear such as helmets, rucksacks, MOLLE and other standard issue items.
- Front and back pockets for 10"x12" hard armor plates

- Aramid construction kevlar ballistic vest
- Front opening convenience w/ Velcro/button closure
- Two adjustable webbing straps on each side
- Removable button-attach groin panel
- Integrated upper back pocket to store groin panel
- Tested to stop 9mm FMJ at 1,400 fps w/ minimal backface deformation (V50 of 1525 fps)
- Thoroughly tested for Fragmentation, 16 grain projectiles V50 of 2,000 fps
- Compatible with Rifle Plates to achieve Level III, and Level IV armor-piercing protection on the Chest and Back
- MOLLE web strips cover the front, plus the kidney areas on the back
- MOLLE web strips compatible with all pockets from the MOLLE and RACK Systems, plus the SPEARS/BALCS Systems.
