The fire starter is now used by the military and can be used to start fires even with wet wood. The magnesium bar is scraped with any hard object and the built-in flint provides the spark to start hundreds of fires with of fires with a flame source of 5400 degrees Fahrenheit. Large enough to be used with gloves, yet small enough to fit anywhere.
